Hindu College, Sonepat,
a premier institution of Haryana state
was set up in the year 1956 by The
Sonepat Hindu Educational & Charitable
Society. The college building is situated
in the heart of the city and is very
near to the Railway Station. A massive

Congenial atmosphere for academic pursuits. Around
seventy well-qualified, scholarly teachers of
whom 26 have Ph.D/D. Litt. and 18 M. Phil. degrees
provide instruction to 1748 students. Education
in Humanities. Commerce, Science, Electronics,
Computer and business Administration is imparted.
Our achievements have been impassive from the
very beginning when the college was affiliated
to Punjab University, Chandigarh. It has given
a number of reputed and dedicated doctors, engineers,
administrators, lawyers and public servants to
society.

It is managed
by the above-mentioned society which runs 13
other educational, technical, management and
engineering institutions where 18000 students
are getting education every year. Besides, it
also runs a full-fledged modern hospital. The
management is fully dedicated to the cause of
education and spares no effort to add to the
glory of the institutions. |

The results of the session 2003-04
show 53 students of our college in the Merit List
of M.D.University. During the session 2004-05
three of our students topped the university whereas
two students got second positions. Total number
of merits was 31. |
